The 2024 BMW Championship has delivered high drama and impressive performances as players head into the final round at Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colorado. The third round, commonly known as “Moving Day,” saw notable shifts in the leaderboard as golfers battled the course’s altitude and challenges. Here’s a breakdown of the top performances and what to expect heading into the final day.

Keegan Bradley Holds the Lead

Keegan Bradley remains in the lead after three rounds, sitting at 12-under-par. Bradley posted a 2-under-par 70 on Saturday, which was enough to maintain his position at the top. Despite a few hiccups along the way, including bogeys on the front nine, Bradley managed to stay steady with a series of clutch birdies down the stretch. His resilience on a tough course like Castle Pines has been the key to his success so far.

Bradley is currently ranked 49th in the FedExCup standings and needs a strong finish to secure his place in the top 30 and advance to the TOUR Championship. A win here would not only bolster his playoff hopes but also earn him a second victory this season. He was crowd Favorite and everyone was chanting ‘USA USA’ when he sank some thrilling putts.

Adam Scott in Close Pursuit

Adam Scott is right on Bradley’s heels at 11-under-par after a rollercoaster third round. Adam Scott entered moving day at the top of leader board after 36 holes but flinched on moving day. Scott posted a 2-over-par 74 on Moving Day, which included a few mistakes early on. His round was a bit uneven, marked by a combination of birdies and bogeys. Despite the setbacks, Scott remains in prime position to challenge for the title on Sunday.

Scott’s experience in closing out tournaments will be crucial as he enters the final round just one stroke off the lead. Known for his precision and calm under pressure, Scott could be poised to make a late run. Scott has been rusty from past few years when it comes to wins. This is I believe his best chance to win and make statement that he is still relevant on Tour.

The Swedish Duo: Ludvig Åberg and Alex Norén

Ludvig Åberg and Alex Norén have both positioned themselves well for the final round, tied for third at 10-under-par. Åberg had a steady round of 71 (-1) on Saturday, showing composure despite the challenges posed by the course. His powerful game and aggressive style have been on full display, making him one of the most exciting young players in the field

Alex Norén, on the other hand, posted a solid 2-under-par 70, making him one of the few players who managed to make significant headway during Moving Day. Norén’s consistency and ability to avoid major mistakes have been key to his success this week. He will be looking to capitalize on this momentum heading into the final round

Xander Schauffele’s Big Move

Xander Schauffele made the biggest leap of the day, he was Jumped 19 spots up the Leader board, carding a superb 5-under-par 67 to move into a tie for fifth place at 7-under-par. Schauffele’s round featured a series of brilliant birdies, which helped him climb up the leaderboard. With his calm demeanor and ability to handle pressure, Schauffele could be a dark horse heading into the final day.

Wyndham Clark’s Strong Showing

Wyndham Clark, the Denver native and U.S. Open champion, is also tied for fifth at 7-under-par after a solid 3-under-par 69 on Saturday. Clark has used his familiarity with the altitude and course conditions to his advantage and could be a major factor in the final round. The Denver crowd will certainly be rooting for their hometown hero as he looks to claim another big victory.
