Bradley Beal’s status has been upgraded to questionable.

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal is very close to making his season debut. He has been listed as questionable on the team’s injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Chicago Bulls, as per Shams Charania https://x.com/shamscharania/status/1721971928221585467?s=46

Beal has yet to debut this season for Suns but due to back spasms he couldn’t play any game for Suns. His hopes to debut for Suns began to emerge prior to Saturday’s game in Philadelphia against the 76ers when Beal was seen on court going through a full workout.

The up gradation of Beal status to questionable indicates if Beal can’t debut on Wednesday then he could be in line for his return on Friday at home game against the Los Angeles Lakers or on Sunday in Suns versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Bradley Beal was sent to Phoenix Suns this off season in a blockbuster trade

The Wizards, Suns and Indiana Pacers all officially announced that move on June 24. Suns landed up Beal for Chris Paul, Landry Shamet, four future first-round pick swaps and six future second-round picks.

The Pacers were also a part of the trade, as they sent Bilal Coulibaly (the 7th pick in the 2023 Draft) to the Wizards for Jarace Walker (8th pick) and land two future second-round picks.

Beal played 50 games with Wizards last season where he was averaging 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 33 minutes per game.
Beal, Durant, and Devin Booker are expected to become one of the NBA’s most lethal trios this season. However, they couldn’t step together on court  due to injuries.
His teammate Kevin Durrant seems pretty excited about Beal return.

“Once everybody comes back and we’ll be at full strength, you’ll see our real team”

Beal making his regular season appearance for Suns will certainly be a good news for Suns fans since Suns are 3-4 at the start of the season. They need to play together for some time in order to gel together and make their team ready for deep playoff run.

Phoenix Suns have been going in playoffs but they could not produce a solid run for championship. Only three Finals appearances have Phoenix had (1976, 1993, and 2021). In six games, they lost each of those series. Even worse, the Suns’ club has the unfortunate distinction of being the oldest to have never claimed a championship.

So this year Phoenix Suns are aspiring to win NBA ring for accomplishing their long awaited dream to establish legacy as one of oldest franchise.
