Eagles vs Bills

On a chilly, rainy Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Buffalo Bills 37-34 thanks to a touchdown by Jalen Hurts on a quarterback draw with 2:37 remaining in overtime.

With 20 seconds left, Philadelphia’s Jake Elliott tied the score with a 59-yard field goal.https://x.com/Eagles/status/1728937603485819031?s=20

Following a field goal by the Bills on the opening play of overtime, Hurts went almost completely unnoticed for the 12-yard touchdown run that cemented the Eagles’ status as the only 10-1 team in the NFL.

Jalen Hurts outperformed Josh Allen of Buffalo by throwing for three touchdowns and running for two more, helping the Eagles overturn a 17-7 halftime deficit for the second straight game.

In a game between two of the most explosive quarterbacks in the NFL, Hurts completed 18 of 31 passes for 200 yards and one interception.

With just 33 yards passing in the first half, Hurts had a terrible game compared to the Eagles’ 99 yards total. However, the MVP front-runner saved the Philadephia Eagles from a 10-point halftime disadvantage for the second consecutive game. To get Philadelphia back into the game, he made connections with A.J Brown from 3 yards and DeVonta Smith from 10 yards.

The Eagles faced third-and-15 after Allen’s pick, taking advantage of the short field. Hurts rolled left and appeared to have no more alternatives when he found Zacchaeus, who, with two hands, held the ball to his chest as he fell in the direction of the end zone.

Eagles DE Brandon Graham participated in his 189th regular-season game, setting a new team record.
