The PGA Tour Calendar Year Comes to an End with the RSM Classic. The top 125 players following the RSM Classic will continue to be eligible to compete, while the top 70 players have already guaranteed their spots for the 2024 campaign. The importance of this event is immense for the careers of the players who are on the edge to lose their playing card or privileges to play on tour.

Round two ended with Ludvig Aberg at the top of the leader board with 11 under par following him were Denny mcCarthy, Sam Ryder and Eric Cole on T2 with score of 10 under par.

Moving Day saw the brilliance of Mackenzie Hughes the Canadian Golfer who went with the lowest score of 60 in Round 3. He carded 8 birdies and one Eagle to tie his career low score on PGA tour.

Hughes was trailing Ludvig Aberg till the 9th hole where he scored birdie to surpass him as leader. Aberg scored birdie on his 9th to share the lead. Soon Eric Cole and Tyler Duncan also joined them for sharing lead.

On 14th Duncan emerged as solo leader this lead change was short lived as Hughes once again came back at the top with 16 under par. Back to back birdies from 12th made Aberg climb back to T2. Hughes became solo leader again after sharing lead for short time with Eric Cole at 16th with another birdie to move to 17 under par.

Aberg showed his short game class with a stunning chip in for birdie at 13th to move to 16 under par and one shot behind the leader. https://x.com/PGATOUR/status/1725964820439089664?s=20

Hughes scored back to back birdies at 16th and 17th to grab the top spot on leaderboard with Eric Cole. Hughes was close to scoring 59 with a birdie opportunity at 18th but he missed this sweaty palm put and carded 60.

Aberg was starting to gear up for lead at his 15th with a birdie to move to 19 under par. Aberg hit a dart on the pin at 16th to get easy tap in birdie to become solo Leader. Ludvig Aberg Carded 61 and finished at the top of leader board  with 20 under par.https://x.com/PGATOUR/status/1725978546500170167?s=20 Eric Cole matched Ludvig aberg performance with brilliant 61 score and will enter final round one shot behind the leader.

Other noticeable performers include Kevin Tway who carded brilliant 63 and now projected No. 139, Tway needs to at least finish in the top 150 to maintain conditional status.

The Leaderboard at the end of the Round 3 was as follow: https://x.com/PGATOUR/status/1725990737471312353?s=20

Ludvig Aberg is favourite to win RSM classic as he is in good form and has been knocking on the door from quite a time to register his first PGA tour win. He was T10 on WWT at EL Cardonal course. I think this is right time for him to register his first victory and grab 1.5 million USD prize to end his season on high note.
